Methanex - Building Block: Corporate Video
Methanex is responsible 80% of the world's methanol supply, but they were finding that people still had little understanding of what methanol actually was, and how it was used. We wanted to show real people going about their every day lives, and how methanol was a key element making their lives easier.
Our goal was to create a video to illustrate how closely we all use methanol products every day.
We set out to create an accessible, engaging video that connected methanol to the average person’s daily life, illustrating how this invisible ingredient quietly powers modern living.
We developed a concept centered around relatable, everyday moments.
Using a blend of original footage and carefully selected stock, we followed different characters through their daily routines, all filmed in a single, versatile location that doubled as multiple homes. With a surprise cameo from Jon, the final video makes the invisible visible! We handled everything from start to finish, from the initial creative development to adding the last frame in post-production, we loved every second of it!
