BCAA - Carmanah: Employee Brand Story
BCAA approached us to help with a recruitment campaign that would go deeper than job descriptions. We created two cinematic, mini-documentary style videos that put the spotlight on real employees, sharing honest reflections about their journeys, their roles, and the impact BCAA has had on their lives. The result is a pair of human-centered pieces that feel personal, grounded, and genuinely reflective of the culture BCAA stands for.
Attracting Talent Through Authentic Storytelling
The goal was to inspire potential recruits by showing the real people who power BCAA every day. We focused on capturing honest, unscripted insights that would resonate with future employees, from personal growth to community connection. This approach moved beyond traditional recruitment messaging and instead invited viewers to picture themselves as part of something meaningful.




Thoughtful Planning, True-to-Life Execution
We started with in-depth pre-interviews to understand each subject’s story before cameras rolled. This helped us shape a clear narrative and maximize our shoot days on location in Victoria and Abbotsford. With limited time in each city, we carefully mapped out every moment to ensure we captured rich interviews and dynamic B-roll across multiple spaces. From planning to post, our goal was simple, to make sure every frame felt real, respectful, and true to the people sharing their stories.
