A 4,350km bike ride to Mexico that would become a ride to conquer cancer.

2018 was a wild one for me to say the least. It included a 4,350km bike ride, a cancer diagnosis and surgery to remove half of my kidney as well as the tumour that could have potentially been fatal if I didn’t get extremely lucky and find it when I did.

This is a 5 1/2 minute video of my journey and learnings from these experiences. My goal is that it ignites a fire in you like it has me.

Noravera is partaking in the Workout to Conquer Cancer month promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. Our team is working out every day throughout the month of May to raise awareness and funds for cancer research and prevention. If you would like to donate to a cause that changes lives and helps fund cancer research that contributed to saving mine, we would really appreciate it. As well, we would love it if you got outside or to the gym with a friend or family member to create a healthy tomorrow for yourself!

If you, a friend or family member is going through some of the challenges I dealt with this year, I truly wish you all the best in a fast and hopefully as painless recovery as possible. Please feel free to reach out to me at anytime as well to hop on a call, grab a coffee or get out for a walk or ride. I would love to talk and learn about others experiences with this awful disease.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to watch my story. I hope it inspired you to keep moving and to keep on smiling.

Geoff
